MoHR in collaboration with the EU Delegation to Pakistan, co-chaired the second meeting of the Project Steering Committee for the EU Huqooq-e-Pakistan Phase II Project

MoHR in collaboration with the EU Delegation to Pakistan, co-chaired the second meeting of the Project Steering Committee for the EU Huqooq-e-Pakistan Phase II Project. The meeting was attended by Provincial Human Rights Departments, National Human Rights Institutions, UNDP Pakistan and representatives from the Economic Affairs and Inter-Provincial Coordination Divisions. Participants reviewed progress under the project’s four pillars and discussed priorities for the upcoming year, with a focus on evidence-based policy initiatives, including countering gender-based violence, child abuse and advancing business and human rights. Annual workplans were presented and endorsed, reaffirming collective commitment to strengthening human rights mechanisms across Pakistan.
