Federal Minister for HR, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, addressing the National Consultation on Pakistan’s Gender Parity Framework, commended the collective efforts of provinces, regions, partners, civil society and academia in shaping a unified reporting mechanism. He said that although international data often places Pakistan unfavorably, the reality is not as bleak; the real challenge lies in data collection and reporting gaps. The Minister emphasized that the new Framework will generate credible and consistent data, strengthen policy design and help close gender gaps in education, health, work and leadership. He reaffirmed the Prime Minister’s commitment to advancing women’s rights and assured that the Ministry of Human Rights will extend full support to integrate the Framework into laws, policies and institutions.
