MoHR in collaboration with the European Union in Pakistan and UNDP Pakistan concluded a consultative design workshop to strategize the upgradation of Pakistan’s #NationalActionPlan on Human Rights. The workshop brought together senior officials, human rights institutions, and development partners to chart priorities and an implementation roadmap.
Federal Secretary Abdul Khaliq Sheikh reaffirmed the government’s commitment to protecting the rights of all citizens, especially marginalized groups. Ms. Marta Ubeda Rodriguez, representing the EU Delegation, noted that the EU is proud to support Pakistan in developing a practical, inclusive and sustainable plan that puts human rights at the heart of governance. UNDP Pakistan also reaffirmed its support through the Huqooq-e-Pakistan II project.
