The Transgender Protection Centre under MoHR organized a free medical camp at the KhawajaSira Learning Center in Islamabad, serving over 100 transgender individuals. Attendees received free consultations from specialists, including a general physician, cardiologist, ophthalmologist, and psychologist. Complimentary medicines, eyeglasses, and tests for HIV/AIDS, syphilis, hepatitis B and C, and diabetes were provided. Healthcare providers were also given educational materials, promoting the importance of understanding transgender identities and ensuring non-discriminatory healthcare services.
