The Ministry of Human Rights, in collaboration with UNICEF Pakistan, National Commission on the Status of Women, Islamabad, National Commission on the Rights of Child - NCRC Pakistan, and PGGA, celebrated the International Day of the Girl Child under the theme “The Girl I Am, The Change I Lead.”

The Ministry of Human Rights, in collaboration with UNICEF Pakistan, National Commission on the Status of Women, Islamabad, National Commission on the Rights of Child - NCRC Pakistan, and PGGA, celebrated the International Day of the Girl Child under the theme “The Girl I Am, The Change I Lead.”
Speaking at the event, Secretary MoHR,  Mr. Abdul Khalique Sheikh highlighted that girls are powerful agents of change and must be supported to lead and thrive. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to promoting gender equality and protecting the rights of girls through education, health, and participation.
The Ministry remains dedicated to building a Pakistan where every girl can learn, lead, and live with dignity.
