The National Assembly has passed a resolution condemning the recent mob lynching in Swat and Sargodha, demanding immediate action against those involved. Presented by Federal Minister for Law & Justice, Human Rights and Parliamentary Affairs Azam Nazeer Tarar, the resolution urges both federal and provincial governments to protect minorities and take swift action against such heinous acts.
Minister for Law & Justice, Human Rights and Parliamentary Affairs , Azam Nazeer Tarar emphasized the need for unity on fundamental issues, stating that any incident like the one in Swat and Sargodha requires immediate and decisive action by the respective governments. He highlighted the importance of protecting citizens and upholding the rule of law across all provinces. He further said that the courts are also expected to provide immediate and speedy justice in such cases.
