MoHR in collaboration with UN Women Pakistan, inaugurated the renovated shelter home at the Family Protection and Rehabilitation Center for Women in Islamabad. The upgraded center now provides essential services including legal aid, medical care, psychosocial counseling and private consultation rooms all under one roof, in a safe and dignified environment. At the inauguration, Secretary MoHR Mr. Abdul Khalique Sheikh emphasized the government's strong commitment to addressing #GBV and ensuring that survivors receive timely support, protection, and respect. The center represents a significant step toward strengthening women’s access to justice and recovery services across Pakistan.
