The AWAZ app, an initiative by the Ministry of Human Rights, is designed to address and report human rights violations across the country. It ensures a rapid response to complaints related to human rights violations and facilitates their swift redressal.

ZAARA: Real-Time Missing Child Alert System
ZAARA is a real-time app integrated within the AWAZ platform, designed to launch the process when a child is reported missing. It mobilizes inter-agency efforts for quick action and typically involves the following components:
The "Zainab Alert” has been launched on the Pakistan Citizen’s Portal,androide/ios/web zarra.mohr.gov.pk. This is a commendable effort on the part of the federal government to unify and strengthen efforts to track and trace missing children and child abuse cases in Pakistan, following the recent enactment of the Zainab Alert, Response and Recovery Act in March 2020. The Zainab Alert system will activate the state machinery at relevant regional and district levels for effective emergency response and recovery of missing children. Through integration with the Pakistan Citizen’s Portal, the alert mechanism will be instantly available to 3 million registered users.
